So since my last post some very good things have happened....our friends for sure want to rent our house in WI and are signing a lease tomorrow night, and Jeremiah can for sure work remotely from Arizona for Dell still. My job is going well so far, but I'm going on my third day of teacher orientation and just flat out feeling overwhelmed. It's really not a big deal, and it's to be expected. It's just hard going from feeling fairly competent/confident in my last teaching job to starting from scratch teaching something I've never taught before, and feeling like I'm at the bottom of the totem pole. I read a quote today that seemed to fit my situation perfectly, and will hopefully help me take things one step at a time.
"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. Begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense." -Ralph Waldo Emerson
