We are adopting from foster care, and the paperwork trail has started! There have been some recent developments on the adoption front, so I wanted to share a quick update. We started the paperwork with our initial questionnaire and made a night of it. About a week later, I got a phone call from an adoption supervisor with our agency to schedule an initial home visit for March 7th! This visit won't be anything we need to prepare for (except that I'm sure crazy nervous cleaning will ensue beforehand). The purpose of the visit is just to get to know us, explain all the requirements and paperwork, and get us signed up for the mandatory PS-MAPP training classes. We have begun the fun!
